PRE RUN PUBLICITY
Friday, Dec 31, is Hozer's annual New Years Eve morning NOIZ Indian trail
run. The Feds are still preventing anyone from the trails out of Chantry
Flats, so again we have to go to the NOIZ Indians temporary(?) camping grounds
in the La Habra Hills. Meet at 7:45 AM at the end of Orange Grove in
Hacienda Heights. Directions: Thomas Map 677-H2 . From the 605 go east on the 60 about 2 miles to 7th Ave. Go south to the end and turn right on Orange Grove and park near the end.
The trail will be an out and back walk/jog up to the top of the hill, and along the top of the ridge to the sacred tower where Hozer will perform the ceremony that allows us to run in NOIZ Indian territory without becoming a pin cushion full of arrows . About 5-6 miles round trip, and one water bottle. Great views from the top.
