SPRING TIME RUNS
These are pictures from runs in the spring 2005 after the LA Marathon. Last fall I got a new digital camera. It takes much better pictures than my previous digital camera. It should since it cost about 5 times as much. Like the previous digital camera, it fits in a pocket of Race Ready running. With these small camerad a by-standers is asked to take the picture. Most often it is successful. But not always. An example of the main problem with the old small digital camera can be seen in this link. <click here>.. That kind of error has not happened. However, another kind of error has occurred, where the camera operator pushes the shutter button, but does not hold it down long enough and no picture is taken. This happened at the Reggae 10-K where Megan Moore took my picture, but it did not come out, and at the Jimmy Stewart Relay Marathon where Sue Hylla's friend did not get the group picture. However in both of these cases the person who took the picture added much more to the fun of the day and the loss of the picture detracted.
