Al Vargas and Jeannie K
This is the picture taken by Ten30Pace group member Ken Wong at the LA Legger Victory Party held at the Otani Hotel two weeks after the LA Marathon. This is Jeannie K. Al and Jennie K were the best of running friends. They both trained at the same running pace and ran many miles together. Second picture. In her e-mail Jeannie K wrote about the Legger Party "... at the Legger party my husband kidded him by asking if he wanted to dance with his "girlfriend" and how awkwardly embarrassed he seemed. We were so different from one another in all respects--two people who probably never would have met but for running.
